Privacy Policy

Overview

bzzer is a no-account online game show buzzer. You can create a room, share a code, and let players join with a display name and buzzer color. We keep the app simple and collect only the limited information needed to run live buzzer sessions, improve the service, and support advertising.

Information You Provide

When you use bzzer, you may provide a room name, player display name, buzzer color, and room code. These details are used to show the lobby, round, and results screens to people in the same session. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information as a room name or display name.

Session And Usage Data

bzzer may process technical information such as socket connection state, round state, buzz timestamps, device/browser details, and approximate request information needed to operate the app. Buzz timing is handled by the server so the host can see the official buzz order for each round.

The app may also store small pieces of local browser data, such as session preferences, share panel visibility, or keep-awake settings, so the interface behaves consistently while you use it.

Advertising And Google AdSense

bzzer may use Google AdSense to show advertising on selected public pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google My Ad Center. You may also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.info choices. More information about how Google uses advertising cookies is available in Google's information about how Google uses data on partner sites.

If bzzer enables advertising in a region where consent is required before advertising cookies or personalized ads are used, we will present a consent message. You can use that message's options to decline or manage your choices and return to this policy for links to Google's controls. We do not place AdSense ad units in active rooms, countdowns, or live buzzer screens.

How Information Is Used

We use information to operate buzzer rooms, show live player and round results, maintain app reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and support ads that help keep bzzer available.

Data Retention

Live room data is intended to be temporary and may be cleared when a session ends, expires, or the service restarts. Aggregated usage counts, server logs, and advertising-related records may be retained for operational, security, analytics, or advertising purposes.

Children

bzzer is a general-audience tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you use bzzer in a classroom or youth setting, use non-identifying display names.
